What happens now?

To complete your transition to BlackBull Markets, please follow these steps:

Visit this link to start the application process and fill out the form: https://blackbull.com/en/share-investing/

• Provide a Proof of Identity (Driver’s License or Passport).

• Provide a Proof of Address (Bank Statement or Utility Bill issued within the last 12 months, showing your name and residential address).

• Complete a Facial Verification. If you have trouble completing a facial check online, please contact our team at support@blackbull.com.

• Send Your IBKR Account Number: Email your current IBKR account number (starting with U) to support@blackbull.com.

• Receive New Credentials: We will provide you with new login credentials, a new account number, and instructions to download the platform (with the same interface you currently use).

• Access Your Account: Once the transfer is complete from your old account number to your new one, you will be able to access and manage your positions as normal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I have to be re-onboarded by BlackBull Markets?

Yes, BlackBull Markets is required to conduct its own customer onboarding due diligence.

Will I keep my IBKR UID number?

No, your IBKR customer UID number will not remain the same. You will be issued a new “U” account number under BlackBull Markets.

Will my trading platform change after transferring to BlackBull Markets?

You will need to redownload the platform specific to BlackBull Markets (same platform but rebranded). All relevant information, including download links, will be provided in an email once your BlackBull Markets Share account has been approved.

Will my portfolio or holdings change during the transition?

No, your portfolio and holdings will remain the same. The transition only involves a change in the service provider.

Will there be any additional fees during the transfer process?

No additional fees will be charged for the transfer. Standard brokerage fees under BlackBull Market’s terms will apply afterward. Please note that we do not charge any management or holding fees.

How long will the transition process take?

The transition typically takes a few business days, but the exact timing depends on the completion of all necessary due diligence and documentation. We will keep you informed with updates and notify you once the transfer is complete.

I do not want to switch; can I continue with my Rockfort Markets account?

Unfortunately, Rockfort Markets Limited, (trading as RockGlobal), has had its derivatives issuer license revoked by the regulator. As a result, BlackBull Markets will now serve as your provider. Rest assured, your access to markets through Interactive Brokers (IBKR) will remain unaffected.

How to open a Share Investing account?

1. Provide the personal details requested in our application form.

2. Upload your supporting documents so that we can verify your identity.

3. Agree to our Terms and Conditions, and then Submit your application.

4. Once we have approved your account, you will receive an email from our support team with details for logging into our investment platforms and funding your account.

How to fund your Share Investing account?

Once your account has been approved and you can fund your Share Investing account.

Log into your online bank account.
Deposit funds into the BlackBull Markets ANZ Bank account using the funding details below (include your account number U******** in the reference).
Send a transaction receipt to finance@blackbull.com. Please include your account number in the email’s subject.
Wait for an email confirming the funds have arrived in your Share Investing Account.

Please note, the minimum required deposit is 1,000 in your base currency.

How to install and log into BlackBull Invest? (mobile app)

Find BlackBull Invest in the Android Google Play or Apple App Store.

Follow the installation process as directed by your app store.

You will require a BlackBull Markets Share Investment account to login into BlackBull Invest.

How to log into BlackBull Invest?

We require you to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) before signing in.

Open the BlackBull Invest app and select “2-Factor Authentication” from the homepage. Click “Continue.”
Enter the Username and Password you received via email upon application approval.
Next, input your phone number and country, then click “Get Activation SMS.”
Enter the code you receive and click “Activate.”

To finalize the 2FA setup for BlackBull Invest, open your iOS settings, navigate to Notifications under BlackBull Invest, and ensure all switches are turned on. At the bottom of the page, select “Persistent” to complete the process.

What is the Share Investing Portal?

The BlackBull Share Investing Portal is a desktop browser platform for trading, account management, and portfolio analysis.

From a single dashboard, clients can view account balances, portfolio performance, and real-time market updates.

The portal includes over 100 indicators and 70 drawing tools for technical analysis. By clicking the Trade button, users can open a trade ticket, preview, and place orders, as well as search symbols, select security types, and configure orders. Expanding any position displays comprehensive product information on the quote details page.

How to convert currency in a Cash Account?

Before you place an order, you must manually convert currency in your Cash Account to the currency in which your order is denominated.

To manually convert currency, please follow the steps below:

From the More menu, swipe up and tap Trade, then tap Convert Currency.

Tap Currency I Have to see the list of currencies in which you have a positive cash balance.

Select a currency and then tap Done.

Tap Currency I Want and select the currency to which you want to convert and then tap Done.

Enter a value in one of the two fields that appear:

If you know the amount of the converted currency you need, enter this value in the Currency I Want section.

Alternatively, specify the amount of the original currency that you want to convert in the Currency I Have section.

Please note, the value in the field with no currency amount entered is automatically calculated.

Preview the order details, then slide the Slide To Submit button to the right to complete the conversion.
